Grassroot Serenade is written and performed by Seamus Byrne and set to what many regard as some of the most beautiful landscapes and scenery in Ireland; those of the Wicklow mountains. Seamus combines the Irish flute, tin whistle and acoustic guitar to bring out the beauty and serenity of the emerald isle. Grassroot Serenade is part of "The Celtic Spirit" DVD featuring two 1/2 hour concerts performed by Brother Seamus. The DVD also includes a short documentary about the ancient monastic cities of Clonmacnoise in county Offaly and Glendalough in county Wicklow.
