For eight years the fast food giant has fought a legal battle over copyright infringement against another food outlet in Kuala Lumpur called McCurry. Earlier this year, a Malaysian court ruled that it was not infringing McDonald's copyright, but the chain are now appealing the decision in the country's highest court. The name may sound similar but customers eating at McCurry's expect a very different kind of meal. This restaurant serves typical South Indian and Malaysian food and its specialty is fishhead curry. McCurry's owner doesn't see how it threatens McDonald's business.
